Just my TYPE Tuesday: Mash Up

I've been browsing blogs for logo inspiration lately to help me with a current project & found these mash up logos. They made me chuckle... like the type geek that I am. I hope you find them just as hilarious too!

My personal fave is the Google Chrome logo mash up of the Pokemon ball & the game Simon.

Invitation Design: Brent's Grad Invitations

I'm so proud of my husband for graduating with his Master of Business Administration earlier this year. His year & a half in the graduate program flew by super fast. I'm sure he was just as happy to finally finish his graduate degree. After many late nights of typing reports, reviewing case studies & meeting up with fellow classmates for group projects, Brent was able to complete his degree with one of the highest GPA's in his graduating class. Way to go babe! You're a Master now =D

Here are the invitations I created for his special day. Instead of an image of him, like traditional grad announcements, I made him into a cartoon! We celebrated with close friends & family after the commencement at one of our fave burger joints, Eureka! Burger.

Biz Card Design: Cupcake Cuties Cupcakery

Staci & I met in Grad school during our International Business class at the University of La Verne. We have kept in contact since then & have both succesfully pursued our own businesses. I was thrilled when she approached me with her business card design. With logo already in place, we worked together on creating a pretty fantastic business card.

I know it's kinda hard to see, but the front of the card is matte black with a shiny UV coating over the logo. I apologize for not being able to capture the awesomeness of the contrast. On the back side, we placed Staci & her business partner Jennifer's contact info. These silk & chic cards are sure to impress any client. Check them out at CupcakeCutiesCupcakery.com.
